Still back-tracking…Puhlman’s Wedding!!!!

October 23, 2009

Filed in: Uncategorized

Before I begin, I need to introduce Amanda Puhlman to everyone.  We met at WVU through my other girlfriends, Steph and Julie.  However, we don’t call her “Amanda.”  She’s “Puhlman” or “Puhl,” and she always will be!  Since she’s married Dave, I think we’ve all tried to call her “Carmichael” or “Puhl-Michael,” but to me it doesn’t feel right.  So to me, you will always be Puhlman!

Now that that’s cleared up, I can go on!…so Brad and I went up to Pittsburgh for Puhl’s and Dave’s Wedding on September 19th!  We stayed at the Sheraton at Station Square, which we actually ended up getting comped due to a bursted pipe!  Here’s a kiss for my groom before I begin…

I attended as a guest, but couldn’t resist bringing my Canon!  I made sure to get a good seat at the church, but I put away Canon after the ceremony.  The entire wedding was a lovely affair.  I looooved their church!  It was very bright and simple and lovely.

Julie sang beautifully…my fave was “Ave Maria” in Italian…Her voice is amazing!
Puhl’s brother escorted the ever-so-elegant Mothers to their seats…
Here come the girls!…

Dave waiting at the end of the aisle…

Maid of Honor, Emily…

Adorable flower girl!…

Taking a deep breath…I think Dave was nervous.  It’s cute!

Puhl was absolutely gorgeous!…

…Even if she cried the entire way down the aisle…

Stephy!…I love her…

Yayyy!!!

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Carmichael!!!

Sweet sweet child…

Gorgeous flowers!…

I love Steph, and I think she always looks amazing in pictures…

I can’t decide which one I like better… =)

Blowing bubbles!…

Bubbles aren’t just for little girls though!…hahaha…I’m so glad I caught this!

I love this photo…

On our way back to our cars, we stopped to chat with Julie, her parents and Joey…Great people…I wish Pittsburgh and Morgantown were closer so we could hang out more!

Last but not least, as I was going through the photos…I stopped at this one.  There was already a shadow over bride and groom, so I pumped it up more.  It may not be “technically” wonderful and “right”, but I just looove the way the sunlight is outlining their bodies and just leaving gentle touches of sunlight all over…even on some of the bubbles that are passing by…

Congratulations to Puhlman and Dave!  I wish you both a lifetime of laughter and love!
