When I was a bride, I wanted my wedding weekend to flow very smoothly. I spent so much time making sure that the day was just perfect for me and Brad and that all of our guests would enjoy themselves. I was actually telling my sister this past Easter weekend how I’m all about “the experience.” I live for the moment, and why shouldn’t my day be perfect dang it?! =)
After everything was taken care of and as October 3rd was nearing, I began to think, “what would my wedding day look like for me?” And one of the most important things to me while I was getting ready was to have MUSIC! During the week prior to my wedding, I searched endlessly on google and itunes for a “wedding day playlist.” I think I had found some playlists, but it wasn’t what I was looking for… So! I set out to make my own wedding day playlist, and I’m here to share it with you! Some of the song choices I made are super corny, but oh well! I guess it’ll give you some insight on how cool I really am. =) As cool as Rick Astley maybe?

Meet Me Halfway – Black Eyed Peas
Whaaaaat?! Black Eyed Peas? It was my own very personal addition. I STILL love that song, but during late September/early October, I was OBSESSED with “Meet Me Halfway.” So now whenever I hear the song over the radio, it brings me back to my wedding weekend. I love it, all those emotions and feelings of that weekend rush right back into my heart and mind. It’s like re-living October 3rd for 4 minutes and 44 seconds.
