I’m not sure why I was so nervous when Belle Magazine started their seven-day countdown on facebook. Maybe I was nervous about what to say to brides and having them like me. Maybe it was the fact that Brad and I put together the idea and design of my booth within five days. Whatever it was, I was thankful that my nerves went away as soon as we arrived at the El Paso Country Club.
It was only 7:30 am, but U-hauls and trucks lined the driveway in front and vendors were hustling. Brad was a gem and built me two walls where I could display my Boudoir Photography.
The Bridal Show went over smoothly. It was my first ever, and I really enjoyed laughing and talking with all the brides and their friends about Boudoir.
One of my most favorite things about the show was meeting wonderful vendors and having fun with them, especially those around me! Kara, who I interviewed, of Kara’s Bridal was close by and the models totally worked her wedding gowns in the fashion show. I especially love this one. Who says pockets can’t be fancy! I believe it’s from Mikaella’s collection.
And another gorgeous gown from Kara’s Bridal…lovin’ the bird cage.
I met Nicole of Nicole Rose Cupcakes. Nicole is a total sweetheart, and her cupcakes were divine! Brad and I loved her red velvet and cream cheese frosted deliciousness! Makes me want one as I type this!
Nicole, Brad approves. Don’t be surprised if he contacts you about being your taste tester, haha.
On one side of me was Elite Events. Patricia and Walter won many bride’s choice and judge’s choice contests for their design–and it’s easy to see why. Congrats to Elite Events! (If anyone knows their website or contact info, please e-mail me at email@example.com -Thank you!)
Detail on the back of a chair. I think this is adorable. I want this fabulousness for my own home!
And on the other side of me was Jesse of Photo Booth Party Time. Brad and I put on some props and hopped in the booth for some silly photos, which I will post later on this week. =) Until then, here is me and my carpenter/husband/greeter/promoter/my everything! enjoying ourselves at the show.
