Saturday mornings. We’ll wake up to the feel of Sasha’s wet nose nudging our hand, wanting to go out and play. The flame blazes under the tea kettle and after a few minutes, the whistle calls Brad out of bed. We’ll sit in our back yard, sipping our hot coffees and enjoying the clear blue sky before the sun feels too warm on our skin.
We’ll spend the day with a trip to Sprout’s Farmers Market, getting to know the latest running shoe at Up And Running, or traveling across town to celebrate a little princess’s birthday party. The day is easy and breezy, with no reminder of time until we see the golden outlines of a purple and pink sunset.
Whether we’re at The Oasis Cafe or at home, we’re more likely to have a seat outside. The more laughs we share with our friends, the faster it gets darker, until the twinkle lights strung above us are the only light illuminating the water droplets that dance their way down our glasses of blue moon and pinot grigio.
